Welcome
to the Oderberg Inland Waterways Museum
and Tourist Information Centre
Experience history, discover culture!
The Oderberg Museum is a very special place that combines history, technology and culture. It is not only a museum,
but also a tourist information centre and cultural hub for Oderberg.
Here you can immerse yourself in the exciting world of inland waterway transport and learn more about the development of this fascinating
craft in the Oder region. Originally founded as a local history museum for prehistory and early history, the museum now houses unique exhibitions on technology and regional history.
Nestled in the beautiful landscape of Brandenburg, between rolling hills and valleys shaped by the Ice Age,
the museum invites you to go on a journey of discovery.
The surrounding area is steeped in history – from Stone Age finds to exciting stories from modern times.
Visit us and be inspired by the mixture of nature, history and culture!
You can find our calendar of events here.
Our museum is equipped for guests with learning difficulties and for visually impaired or blind guests.
Detailed information on accessibility can be found on the ‘Brandenburg barrierefrei’ website.
