The museum's core competence lies in inland shipping on the Oder. Thanks to the former museum director's passion for collecting, 

we now have access to an extensive archive. Our aim is not only to give you an understanding of the technical development of inland shipping, 

but also to demonstrate this using selected exhibits such as detailed model ships.
